UNetbootin 5.77

UNetbootin  is a free windows appllication, that  allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux distributions without burning a CD. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. You can either let UNetbootin download one of the many distributions supported out-of-the-box for you, or supply your own Linux .iso file if you’ve already downloaded one or your preferred distribution isn’t on the list.

UNetbootin 5.77 can create a bootable Live USB drive, or it can make a “frugal install” on your local hard disk if you don’t have a USB drive. It loads distributions either by downloading a ISO (CD image) files for you, or by using an ISO file you’ve already downloaded.

The current version has built-in support for automatically downloading and loading the following distributions, though installing other distributions is also supported:

UNetbootin also supports downloading many Linux-based system tools, including partition repair utilities, disaster recovery discs and antivirus tools. If you’re at all interested in Linux then app is worth a look, for installing Linux on your system with this app, all you have to do is choose the image you need, and UNetbootin handle everything else: downloading the package, unpacking it, copying the files to the USB drive that you specify, and adding a boot loader. You can leave the app to work, and once it’s finished you can see Linux OS on your system just by booting from that USB drive.
