2 Best XBMC Plugins That Let’s You to Stream Videos and Movies (Icefilms Alternative)

The result was if you rely on iceflims to stream TV Shows or Movies, chances are it’s not going to work for XBMC even those are updated 2shared links. So instead of waiting for new updates to fix the issue, we would like to share you 2 more XBMC plugins that let’s you to do pretty much all the functions from Iceflims. NaviX

NaviX is a XBMC program plugin, runs on all the platforms XBMC supports to run, including PC, Mac, Linux, Apple TV, iPad/iPhone, Xbox, PS3, Wii and Android. Download the plugin here.


Install the ZIP file as add-on.
Launch XBMC > System > Settings > Add-ons >  “Install from ZIP file”. Navigate to the location where you have downloaded the plugin and install it.


Once you have done the installation. From the main menu, go to Program > Navi-X


You can find pretty much anything from here, from TV Shows to Movies, all with latest shows and pretty good quality and speed.

Free Cable

Free Cable, as the name suggested, you can watch/stream TV Shows from different cable companies.

To get this working you need to first install the Bluecop’s Repo download the repo zip file here.

To install, go to System > Settings > Add-ons > “Install From ZIP” select the repo zip. Once that’s done, make sure restart XBMC.

Navigate to System > Settings > Add-ons > “Get Add-ons” > “bluecop Add-on Repository” >Free Cable to install the plugin.


Once the plugin has installed go back to main menu > Video > Add-ons > Free Cable.


From here you can select a list of cable providers and stream shows from each of their networks. For some channels, this plugin also bypass the restrictions if you are not live within US.
