Win7 and the easiest way for me to edit my hosts file was to install

Small tutorial
1. First download all the stuff don't install first.
2. go to start and then open run dialog box
3. Enter %windir%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
(for win xp users) to go to host file.
4. Copy this "127.0.0.2 licensing.intellimon.com mailserver.
intellimon.com"(without double quotes) and paste it to the end of the host file.
5. Save the host file and then exit.
6. My firewall automatically tells when any application connect
to the internet so i have blocked xsite pro you can either block it
from firewall or you simply disconnect from the internet.
7. Now install the program and after installing
uncheck the check for updates check box.
8. click Finish Installation, now run the program
it will ask for serial key enter the key provided in the readme file and then click unlock.
9. It will get unlocked and will run, now close the program.
10. Double click the update file (exe) it will automatically update the program.
11. now run the resource pack.
Now everything is installed run the program and enjoy.
NOTE:- don't try to install the program first and then try
to download the update, first download all stuff
(or atleast program n its update) then install.
