Let’s face it, you need to know how to get Google Page Ranking, if you want to survive and thrive on the Internet. Getting ranked in Googleis not that hard when you understand the basics and apply them…
When the talk is about page ranking and how to do it, one is essentially referring to SEO (search engine optimization) practices. SEO in simple, direct, short version language is simply preparing your website, blog, content, etc. in such a way, that you make it easy for the search engines and relevant for the readers. So in other words, Google’s job (and of course all search engines) is to provide you, me and everybody else, the information we are looking for. Furthermore, Google’s job is to give us the information that is the most relevant to the term we are searching for. The better Google can do this, the happier you and I are and when we are really happy, Google gets all giddy and tingly and this makes Google feel good. And when Google is happy because the searcher is happy, Google wants to reward somebody for this… So who is Google going to reward..? Well Google is going to reward the website/s that provided the best and most relevant information that the searcher was looking for. And the way that Google rewards the content provider is by giving them the top ranking spots in it’s search engine.
So now the question becomes, how to get Google page ranking for you and yours..? Thankfully, there are many, many things one can do from, article writing, to blogging, to buying links and back linking… (which is talked about these days as probably the most important.)
However, I am going to reveal to you, right here and now, from my personal experience, the two most powerful free methods for how to get Google page ranking is, to “do proper keyword research” and then “do proper on page SEO!”, in that order. Those two methods alone, WILL get you Google page ranking and can, in some cases, get you on the first page of Google (and pretty much by default, if you are ranked well in Google, you will be ranked well in Yahoo, Bing and other search engines…)
Unfortunately for the scope of this article, we won’t be going into an extended talk on keyword research but I will tell you the most important part… For your keyword research, you want to find the search terms (what people are typing into the search engines) people are using to find what they are looking for. When you discover these words or word, this is your ideal keyword/s to use.
Now you have your keyword/s and the very next thing you want to do is optimize your web page content (a.k.a., on page seo). And here’s the most powerful, easy and simplest part of this process…
- Your main keywords should be in your domain name somewhere (preferably in the root…)
- Your keywords should be in your meta tags (title, description, and keyword meta tags)
- Your keywords should then be in your main heading (H1 tag)
- Your keywords should next appear in the body of your content (beginning, middle and end)
And these my friends, are the most powerful free methods on how to get Google Page Ranking! Obviously there is more that can and should be done but these methods are not only the most powerful, relatively speaking, but they are also The Most Essential!
