It was 7th April 2011 when Spling was officially launched to 19 college campuses while it is being promoted by 35 campus representatives. This has been made possible through 2011 Venture Plan Competition which was sponsored by Greater Susquehanna Keystone Innovation Zone, Bloomsburg University, Bucknell University and Susquehanna University. On its official week launching, the new website received 5000 unique visitors and more than 125,000 page views. Obviously, it received a remarkable attention from many internet users around the globe. “We are launching something exciting and different.” as being announced by Billy McFarland, CEO and Founder of Spling.
